Loopance

Privacy Policy

Effective October 11, 2026

Loopance is a practice app for dancers, made by Aman Sharma. This policy covers the Loopance iPhone app and the Loopance web app.

The short version: Loopance doesn't collect any personal data. There are no accounts, analytics, ads or tracking. Your videos and practice data stay on your device.

What stays on your device

None of this is sent to the developer or anyone else.

Photos and Files

Loopance uses Apple's built-in pickers and the Share menu, so the app only receives the video you choose or share. It can't see the rest of your photo library or files, and it never asks for photo library permission.

Purchases and the free trial

The free trial, subscriptions and the lifetime unlock all go through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment, and Loopance never receives your payment details, name or Apple ID. The app only asks Apple whether you have an active plan.

Network access

The iPhone app doesn't connect to any Loopance server. It talks to Apple's App Store to show prices, process purchases and check your plan, and it opens this website in Safari when you tap Privacy Policy or Support in Settings.

Feedback

Send Feedback in Settings opens an email in your mail app. If you send it, the developer receives your email address and message and uses them only to reply.

Backups

Like other app data, your videos and projects may be included in iCloud or computer backups of your iPhone. Apple handles those backups under its own privacy policy.

The web app

The web version works the same way. Videos and projects are stored in your browser and never uploaded. Like any website, it's delivered by a hosting provider (Vercel), which may process standard request details such as your IP address to serve the page. Loopance doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts.

Deleting your data

Deleting a project removes its copy of the video, its parts and its progress. Deleting the app, or clearing this site's data in your browser, removes everything Loopance has stored except the trial start date, which stays on the iPhone so the free trial can't be restarted. Erasing the iPhone removes that too.

Children

Loopance doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
