How do I get started?
Tap + on the home screen and import a video from Photos or Files. Loopance makes a choreo from it.
Which videos work?
Any video your iPhone can play, such as MOV, MP4 or M4V files.
Can I add a video from WhatsApp, Files or another app?
Yes. In that app, tap Share and choose Loopance, name the choreo and tap Add to Loopance. It's ready the next time you open Loopance. If Loopance isn't in the list, scroll the row of apps to the end, tap More and turn it on.
Can I import videos from Instagram?
Loopance can't download from Instagram. If the creator allows downloads, Instagram's Share menu has a Download option that saves the Reel to Photos. Then share it to Loopance from Photos.
How does practice work?
Open a choreo and pick Drill to loop any section, or open Parts to split the dance into parts with the marker editor and learn them one at a time. Each repetition can start with a short lead-in countdown. With progression on, the speed goes up step by step until it reaches your max speed.
Can I keep the video visible while using another app?
Yes. Tap the picture-in-picture button in the top right of the practice screen.
How do I change the defaults?
Tap the gear on the home screen. Settings apply to new choreos, and each choreo keeps its own settings.
How does the free trial work?
Importing, looping, slowing down, mirroring and up to 3 parts per choreo are always free. Loopance Premium adds up to 8 parts per choreo, Set Counts, recording yourself next to the video, and exporting the comparison. You can try Premium free for 7 days, once per iPhone, and nothing is charged when the trial ends. After that, Premium is monthly, yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Counts and parts you already set keep working.
How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?
Open Settings in Loopance (the gear on the home screen) and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the Apple ID you bought with.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In your iPhone's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Loopance. You can also get there from Loopance: Settings → Loopance Premium. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for.
Does deleting a choreo delete my original video?
No. Loopance works on its own copy, so the original in Photos or Files isn't touched.
Where are my videos stored?
Only on your iPhone, inside Loopance. Nothing is uploaded. See the privacy policy for details.
